This section explains the basics of how the auction sheets are designed and what to look for when choosing a used car for purchase. Auction sheet layouts do vary depending on the auction house.

The above auction sheet has been provided by USS, indicates what all those boxes mean. You might need to go through the diagram a few times before you understand the components of the auction sheet. The simplified version of abbreviations has been highlighted on the left hand of the car diagram (the full list of abbreviations has been listed bellow for your reference).

The following tables indicate the basic condition of the used cars and some of the options it might include. The first table shows the exterior condition, where as the second table indicates the interior and the third table to options. It's important to understand that these are general guides and the specific auction sheets may contain many more information regarding condition.
